Chapter 36

As Steven walked inside into a huge living space with an open kitchen and then to a long hall that leads to his bedroom. He opened the door and walked inside while Laura was still humming a song with her hiccups in between.
He placed her on his big bed and then went out to bring a glass of water for her. He helped her in drinking some water so that her hiccups could calm down. He then gently placed her back on the bed and then removed her sandals.
While untying the ropes of her sandals, he faintly moved his fingers on her bare skin and she shivered from his touch. He smiled at her reaction and put down her sandals. As she turned, he realized that she is wearing a backless dress and again his smile turned into a straight line.
