• On returning home after the trip, I was done hiding in the shadows. My affair with Alex had gone on for too long. It was time for me to stand my ground, now that I have a baby on the way. There is no way I'm gonna let my baby grow up without a father like Carlos . I knew it was going to break my mother's heart but sometimes we got to be selfish to protect our own happiness.
