Chapter 12

• Their appointment rolled around the next day and Kelly was feeling a mix of exasperated and pampered. A rush delivery had arrived. A big one.
• Logging on and waiting a few minutes for him to arrive, she looked at the pile of stuff. She had only worked her way through half the box. This man was too much, in the best of ways.
• A weighted blanket draped over her lap and legs, a heating pad was plugged in and wrapped around her pelvis, bath salts in a fancy jar were stored under her sink, and some vitamin oil capsules were in her medicine cabinet. There was a new set of comfortable cotton panties in her laundry and a stack of expensive chocolate on her nightstand. At his request, she had ordered a fancy sushi platter and now it sat on the bed next to her. Her mug was full of some expensive menstrual tea that claimed to relieve cramps and other symptoms while reducing the length of her period.
