Chapter 73

• Jasmine paced anxiously around Nicolai's office, her face etched with worry and fear. She had rushed there directly after failing to catch up with Stephan, but Nicolai's secretary had informed her that he was still tied up in a meeting. Jasmine had opted to wait for him rather than have his secretary interrupt the meeting. Her mind was racing with thoughts of Stephan's latest move. How could he do that? How dare he try to take custody of her kids?
• Jasmine ran her hand through her hair in frustration, she couldn't believe what was happening right now. She checked her wrist watch and saw that she's been waiting for Nicolai for over 30 minutes. Jasmine sighed deeply before walking out to talk to his secretary.
• "I'm so sorry to bother you again, but how long will the meeting last again?" She asked, her voice laced with urgency.
