• Jasmine was savoring the snacks they'd bought earlier, enjoying the peacefulness of her room. A knock at the door broke the silence. She hastily swallowed her snack and called out, "Come in!"
• The door swung open, and Nicolai stepped inside, closing it behind him. His eyes widened in surprise as he took in the array of snacks spread across her bed. A bowl of ice cream sat on the bedside table, looking tantalizingly delicious.
• Nicolai's jaw dropped. "You're not planning to finish all that, are you?" He asked, his tone a mix of amusement and concern.
