• "Y...you and Jasmine kissed?" Kent stuttered, unable to believe his ears. He stared at Nicolai for a while, his expression unreadable, then he burst into laughter.
• Nicolai looked at him, confused. "What's so funny?" He asked, a hint of annoyance in his voice.
• "Come on." Kent said, struggling to hold back his laughter. "I thought you said you weren't going to accept the mate bond, and you two will just be good friends, so what happened?" He asked. "See, Nick. I knew you couldn't resist the mate bond, so why don't you just accept it and be with her."
