Chapter 56

Cruella was just returning home, and when she saw Nicolai's car parked outside her home, her hand froze on the steering wheel. Her blood ran cold as she thought that Nicolai must have discovered where she went to and that's why he's here. But there's no way he could have found out, right? Not unless he has someone following her, but why would he even want to do that? Does he suspect her? He shouldn't!
So many questions ran through her mind, and the only way to get the answer is to go meet him. She turned off her car and braced herself for what's to come before stepping out.
"Cruella." Nicolai called as he met her half way.
