Chapter 3
- I only managed to avoid getting hit right on the nose which would have broken my nose bridge, but I couldn't avoid the whole thing altogether so she ended up punching my cheek and jaw area.
- The pain was shattering and exploded on my nerves in a million ways. I held a hand to my jaw, wincing at the pain. She shouldn't have done that, she has managed to tick me off now.
- Satisfied by her initial attack, she tried to punch me again when she thought I was vulnerable, but I held her hand and delivered a punch to her belly that would make her double in pain. Even if she healed fast, she would feel the intensity of that punch for a long time.
- “I told you to leave it alone, didn't I?” I glared at her deadly as I punched her again. She tried defending herself, but I was on a roll now. “You should have stopped when I begged you to!”
- She was strong. I had to give her that. She recovered quicker than an average wolf would if she properly faced me. Fuck being the quiet new girl, I won’t let her win against me.
- Even if she was using her wolf-enhanced powers, I was an even match for her with my martial arts skills. I positioned myself ready for defense and she frowned. She must have been expecting me to shift or something.
- She charged at me at full speed, but I stopped her from getting to me with a kick. It sent her flying backwards, and I could see that she had scratched herself. It was satisfying to see her injured, even if it was a little.
- I lifted my palm and beckoned to her to come at me once more. She did. She had to be stupid and proud even when she knew she would get trashed over and over.
- I could see her attacks before she got to me and I defended myself against each of them, making sure to land one on her before she got pushed back.
- She was weakening and I could see it. Heck, everyone could see it, but she wasn't satisfied. She wanted to beat me, something she couldn't achieve. Not in that state, anyway.
- “Just let it go and let's have a proper fight in the assigned classes.” I tried to reason with her. Even if I decidedly didn't like her, she was still the daughter of a powerful Alpha and I didn't want to humiliate her further.
- “No. This ends now because I end you at this moment!” She raged, and I admired her resolve, but it couldn't continue this way.
- Ugh. She was being stubborn about it. I looked around to see if there was anything I could do to make things stop, but I could only see people watching us. They had their phones out and recording, except a group of people, but I paid them no heed.
- Where was an instructor or a teacher when you needed one? I would love for one of them to break up the fight right now.
- “Are you looking for someone to save you? Give it up, there isn't any.” She sneered. I directed my attention back to her. Even though she was beaten up, she still looked very put together. There was no hair out of place and I wasn't sure I could say the same for myself even if I had been the one who had landed more punches.
- “No. I'm looking for someone to save you from me.” I answered, causing laughter and “Ooou!” to ripple across the students.
- I could see her getting mad again, but it didn't bother me, she shouldn't have started this, and I had to end it now.
- “What the hell is happening here?” I heard someone yell and the students scattered. Finally, someone who could break down this fight.
- “Sir, she hit me.” Sandra pointed at me. I was amazed by how easily she lied, but it had to be part of her nature. She wanted to look innocent and proper in front of the older people, and I was certain they bought it every time.
- The man who had appeared looked between us and shook his head. “Both of you, follow me. Now.” He turned to the students, who hadn't dispersed yet. “The rest of you, go to your classes immediately.”
- I looked at Sandra who glared at me, her eyes shooting daggers.
- I sighed. This was turning out to be a memorable first day.
