• Three days ago I was standing in that stupid bathroom with the cracked mirror, passing orders to the gang leader auntie had connected me to. That's when I heard someone trip over something at the door. My eyes snapped to the crack under the stall door and sure enough, a shadow slipped away. I wasn’t stupid. Whoever it was had been listening.
• I pushed out of the bathroom so fast the door nearly smacked the wall, because I didn’t like being spied on, not by anyone, and especially not when I was making plans for Millicent's damnation.
