Chapter 26 Twenty Six

• I hadn’t expected Sorren to show up to the orphanage. When I left this morning, I was not sure what I was expecting. After knowing that my father took me from that orphanage as atonement for his sins, I decided I had to visit what was my home for the first days of my life. Because of father’s greed, his sister died whilst giving birth to her child. Unfortunately, the child didn’t make it. He decided that raising another child would aton his greed. And I was his scapegoat.
• Now, I don’t mean to sound ungrateful. I am grateful to my father for raising me and providing me with an education. But, because of him, I suffered as a kid and even now. He was never able to stand up to his wife for the way she treated me. Worse when Denise was born.
