Chapter 16 Sixteen

• I stood outside the estate, the crisp evening air brushing against my skin, trying to calm the storm raging in my chest. I needed space, air, clarity—anything to stop my thoughts from spiraling. It was as though the universe was punishing for the sun's I committed because I could never seem to catch a break. Just then, my phone buzzed in my hand.
