Chapter 10 Ten

• When I wake up the following morning, Tessa is nowhere in bed, or in the room for that matter and it leaves me wondering if last night happened. But the smell of her shampoo and cologne infused into the pillow case and my shirt tells me it was very real.
• "Tessa?" I called out. No response. I get out of bed and walk into the bathroom. No sight of Tessa. Figuring she was probably downstairs, I quickly undressed, shower and headed down the stairs ready for work.
