• My heart was pounding thunderously in my chest, seeing Sorren before me looking so angry. The look on his face tells me he wasn't happy and I could only imagine why. I had left the house before he woke up because my breasts were swollen and overflowing. The pain of it had actually woken me up from sleep. Like a thief, I tiptoed around the house until I found a spare bathroom where I showered and got dressed up.
• The plan was to grab a cab, but as soon as I got out of the house, I met with Isaac. The Montgomery mansion was far off the highway. Ordering a ride would have taken more time and even when it got to the mansion, others would have been awake and that would have drawn attention to me, so I asked Isaac to drive me, begging with him to be discreet.
