Chapter 122

• Anna had almost gotten lost several times on the way back to her room but eventually found the cracked hallway she’d seen earlier. Everyone she passed looked in a daze, even when she openly stared at them with a smile.
• When she got back to the room, Patrick and Lucas were already there with a table of food that didn’t look very appetizing. Anna locked the door behind her and pulled up a chair to join them.
• Lucas’s eyes followed her, he seemed to look her over to make sure she was in one piece but her mind felt as if it was in hundreds. “Anything?” She asked them first.
