Chapter 80 Unexpected Arrival

• I opened the locker beside my safe and picked up my gun feeling the cold metal settle in my hand. My mind hammered frantically, remembering the last few minutes, trying to convince myself that I wasn’t hallucinating. But I knew what I had seen. There was a shadow outside my window, someone hiding in the darkness. I was not going to take any chances.
• Slowly I moved toward the window, my finger wrapped around the gun. Every step felt heavier than the last. My heart pace increased in my chest as I got closer, my breath held in.
