Chapter 98 A New Threat

• The Hunters, a group of highly trained humans with full knowledge of the mystical world. According to ancient texts, at the time of fiefdoms and domains in ancient periods, creatures lived in complete freedom, known to everyone.
• For some, they were deities praised and revered among humans, this was the case of the alves awkwardly called elves because of the language used by those who did, the gnomes who were called gods of the earth, and the mermaids to both revered and feared by fishermen and sailors. There was another plethora of creatures that were said to bring good luck but there were also those that brought misfortune and desolation wherever one of them decided to dwell.
• These were especially witches and vampires who used human beings for their spells and meals. Another species that had sown misfortune among men, was the lycanthropes. The fact that they look like big wolves and that you only hear them on a full moon has fueled the myth of the werewolf only changing on full moon nights. This was of course wrong because lycanthropes can change into a wolf at any time. Full moon nights are just the times when young alphas are looking for mates in the pack and therefore have to charm them.
