Chapter 97 The Hunters

Someone explain to me what's going on here. What is Chad doing in this place and why does he feel so familiar yet so alien to me? And what about that earlier action? He so easily dodged my driver not to mention he looks so much more different.
Finally, I understand myself just to say that in high school he was already strong, but he did not have this dangerous aura to the point where my instinct was on the lookout. It looked like my part of the wolf was about to fight and I wasn't the only one as I could feel the hostility in the air coming from my driver. It wasn't just his job as a driver that made him so suspicious of Chad anymore, it was more like he sensed danger and needed to be on his guard.
What was this incongruous situation?
