Chapter 3 Terry's Birthday

  • ❣️ MITCHELLE'S POV ❣️
  • Two days went by fast and completely indifferent from the other days. I don't think Terry remembered that today is supposed to be his birthday because he called me earlier and didn't talk about it.
  • I called Cindy and told them to get ready because I will personally go to his house and take him out to the party. When she said everything was as perfect as planned, I grabbed my car keys and ran out.
  • I met him watering his flowers. When he looked up and saw me, a smile radiated in his eyes and my heart warmed up.
  • "Hey, babe! It seems like you aren't missing me" I returned his smile and jumped into his widely opened arms.
  • "Who told you that? I..." He started, but I shut him up with a deep kiss. "I thought you were busy and needed space for now because it will be hot tonight!" He rasped, winking at me.
  • "I'm never too busy for shit!" I chuckled. "Go get dressed, I'm taking you out tonight,"
  • "What are we celebrating?" He asked suspiciously.
  • "Are you saying I can't simply take my sweetheart out for at least lunch or dinner?" I retorted.
  • "Sorry ma'am, I will do whatever you say" he shrugged and went inside.
  • He came out in neat clothes and shoes, for a gentleman, a navy blue shirt, jeans and black shoes. I linked my hand in his and told him that I will do the driving.
  • "If you insist" he accepted without arguments.
  • I drove to the park and told him that I would like to blindfold him before we entered. He suspected something immediately but gave in after some time.
  • When we finally entered the middle of the park, the knockouts dominated the place and I saw the look of surprise and appreciation in his eyes as they shone brightly in the light.
  • He scooped me into his arms and kissed me breathless. "I will kîll you for this, fair wítch!" He whispered to my ears.
  • "I'm ready for that, just get ready to dîé with me!" I laughed out loud as I gave him space to talk to his friends and family.
  • "I can't believe you two are part of this and I didn't get the least idea... Gosh!" He grinned when he met his sister and Cindy.
  • "If we let you know before now, that amazing look on your face just now wouldn't be there and it will be no more surprise" Queen, his baby sister replied.
  • "Happy birthday, gorgeous! It's all thanks to Mitch, she has been a thorn in my flesh for the past few days just to make this happen. And meet Vicky, the party planner," Cindy introduced in a light spirit.
  • "Hi, nice to meet you" Terry shook hands with Vicky.
  • She's a slender girl, not much of a smiler, an addictive smoker and not someone you would call shy. The last time I talked with her, I noticed her voice is sort of deep as male because of the cigarette she takes.
  • After meeting and exchanging pleasantries. The party began. It ended very late in the evening. As people gifted him and found their way home, we sat down on a couch overlooking the ocean.
  • It was an amazing view that made me wish I was good at poetry. I would have sang to my heart's content if I knew how…
  • The sun has turned red and it fell like crystals over the surface of the water giving way for the stars and moon if there was to be any later in the night.
  • He pecked me countless times on my left cheek, I looked at him after somewhile of enjoying his lips brushing against my flesh and smiled.
  • "Thank you so much for everything," he said.
  • "You do more than this for me, Terry. I just didn't know what else to do for you"
  • "Could you believe I forgot my own birthday?"
  • "I figured out, and I have been telling you to stop stressing yourself too much so you wouldn't make a habit of not recalling important things"
  • "Okay, doctor, I will do just that though I think you do stress yourself much more than I do"
  • "We don't do the same work..."
  • "Happy birthday, brother" Queen's voice interrupted, she came to view with a wrapped gift. "Thanks for the party, Mitchelle, I hope he proposes tonight" she said shyly and left.
  • "I love you, Mitchelle," he said with a promising gaze.
  • For a moment, I wanted to reply and tell him that I feel something a lot like love for him but I know that is not part of the plan.
  • I pushed him down to the single couch and splayed my palm on his chest. I smiled down at him when he grabbed my waist.
  • "Are you sure we are here alone?" He inquired looking around.
  • "Absolutely!" I bit my lower lip seductively as I pulled off his shirt and bent to kiss his chest.
  • There's a lot of things you need to know about me, I love crãzy and wild sèx. I am a badäss and I love hot romance. I pulled up his shirt.
  • He moaned softly when I nibbled on his nipples and ran my tongue over it. My tongue suckled and tasted his flesh.
  • I was so engrossed in the act that I didn't know when someone came in on us... Yep! I am very wrong, there is still some gossip out there.
  • "Someone please, get them a room!" Cindy cleared her throat.
  • "This couple... One expects a proposal and they are busy doing shit!" Someone laughed as they came around.
  • "Wait a minute, I thought you guys already went home" I caught my breath watching as almost all our friends came back and surrounded us like wild fire.
  • "I gave you a hint of what we all expected and here you are doing another thing, I know it's not been that long but I believe you two are the picture of a perfect couple" Queen said.
  • "I guess they aren't ready for that, so guys, let's give them space" George, one of Terry's male friends said.
  • "Whatever, I don't like the way this party ended" Kennedy hissed. He's also a good friend to Terry.
  • "I don't understand, I'm still confused, what's this about?" I asked, looking at their faces one by one.
  • "Mitch, the thing is... It's just that we planned to end the party pretending to be tired and drunk, then hide somewhere and wait for Terry to propose... I mean, we thought it's about time he put a ring on it!" Cindy replied.
  • "I thought you guys had better things to do with your time, rúbbish!" I hissed and left angrily.
  • "No one has any right to dictate what happens in my life, okay?! I hope you guys don't repeat this..." I heard Terry saying and his footsteps as he followed me.
  • "Wait, what's there to be angry about this? What's wrong with those two?" I heard a lady say.
  • That's true, why am I angry? They meant no harm, they are looking out for me and I am getting pissed off for no reason at all! What exactly is my problem?
  • "Love and marriage should go to hell!" I screamed when I got into my car.
  • Terry knocked on the glass, but I refused to wind down or open it... Maybe it's time to let him go before this gets out of hand.
