Chapter 40

• Flora checked her reflection in the mirror for the nth time before she heard the knock on the door. Her eyes brighten up in excitement as she rushed up to open the door. However, what she wasn’t expecting was that the door would be kicked open by the other party which would in turn hit her nose so hard that it would almost bleed in red.
• “ Ah… ” She moaned in pain before covering her nose with her hands, afraid that William wouldn't like seeing her ruined face. Unexpectedly, William didn’t care about her face at all and walked straight to the bed as he sat down while placing his right leg over left. He then looked up at her face as he asked, “ What are you doing at the door? ”
