• “ Are you a fool? Why did you remain silent? Why didn’t you protest? ” Claire asked in a concerned voice while William smirked before muttering, “ As if you care… ”
• “ I- ” Claire bit her lips as she swallowed her words before they could come out of her lips. However, this slight movement couldn’t escape through William's eyes and he said in a sarcastic voice, “ Why are you pretending to be so concerned about me? Shouldn’t you be happy that I didn’t rat your fiance out and took his place willingly? Didn’t you also sacrifice yourself to stop me from taking his name? ”
• “ I didn’t! ” Claire chuckled before saying in a low voice, “ I knew you weren’t going to take his name.”
