• Dante pulled out of Claudia's mouth with a satisfied grunt, his anger momentarily subsided. The memory of Aria was indeed fading, replaced by the temporary satisfaction Claudia provided. He cleaned himself up. "Get dressed and leave. You did well." His tone was almost polite now.
• Claudia's eyes sparkled with admiration as she stared at Dante's muscular back. She had never seen a man so dominant and terrifyingly attractive. She remained standing, the robe untouched. She wanted to bask in his presence a little longer, like a fangirl in love with her idol.
• Dante's tone turned sharp again, annoyed by Claudia's lingering presence. Without turning to face her, he snapped, "I said leave. Now. Before I change my mind about letting you keep your head on your shoulders." His hand tightened around the knife still in his hand, a clear warning.
