• "What the fuck did you just say?" Lorenzo's eyes widened in disbelief, staring at Dante's intense expression. He tried to laugh it off, but there was an undertone of shock in his voice. "Since when does the great Dante fucking Mancini want to make some chick his wife?"
• Dante's grip on Lorenzo's throat tightened, his anger and possessiveness consuming him. "I said she's mine," he growled, his face contorted with emotion. "And I'm going to make her my wife, whoever she is." Lorenzo choked under Dante's grip, struggling for air.
