Chapter 51
- After downing the shot, he stormed back over to Aria, grabbing her arm roughly. He dragged her out of the room, not caring if she stumbled or fell. His grip was like a vice, his anger palpable. "Let's go," he spat, pulling her towards the car.
- He pushed her into the backseat of his sleek black car without ceremony. Aria stumbled in, her body aching from the rough treatment. Dante slammed the door shut behind her and leaned in through the open window to bark orders at his driver. "Take us to The Velvet Room," he commanded harshly.
- The driver started the engine immediately, pulling away from the curb with a soft hum. Aria tried to pull her hand free from Dante's grip, but he held her tightly, his fingers digging into her wrist painfully. She looked at him desperately but saw only cold anger in his eyes.
