• Zander and Daniel burst out of the house, adrenaline surging through their veins. The sun had barely risen, casting long shadows across the ground as they grabbed their weapons—a shotgun for Zander and a rifle for Daniel. • “Split up,” Zander commanded, his voice firm and authoritative. “I’ll check the left side of the lake; you take the right. Call out if you see her!”
• Daniel nodded, his expression serious and focused. “We need to find her fast. If she’s gone deeper into the woods, it’ll be harder to track her down.”
