• Avery walked towards Sebastian, who was standing alone, lost in thought, staring out the window of Adam's hospital room. She could see the tension in his body, the tightness in his shoulders, and the clenched fists at his sides.
• As she approached him, Avery gently turned him to face her, her eyes locking onto his. "Sebastian, what was that?" she asked, her voice firm but concerned. "You have no right to talk to Adeline like that."
