Avery entered the office; her eyes met those of a man whose presence commanded attention. His dark brown hair was styled neatly, accentuating his piercing blue eyes that seemed to bore into her very soul. His athletic build and broad shoulders radiated confidence, while his strong jawline, sharp cheekbones, and prominent nose defined his cheekeled features.
Avery felt a flutter in her chest as he looked at her with a serious glance, his eyes narrowing slightly as he assessed her.
