• Lucas could not help but feel like he had been sabotaged continuously at work. Suddenly, a lot of things had begun to crumble for him. Someone was stealing his new ideas for a proposal that he had been working on for a long time.
• Before he could make a move, it was always proliferated. Someone was keeping tabs on him, but he could not figure out who it was. Frustration slowly began to set in.
• Lucas barely came home, and even when he did, he would not sleep in his bedroom. Everything about it reminded him of Scarlett, and he had tried desperately to forget about her. Good memories that he had of her were slowly shifting to become a source of pain and creeping insanity to him.
