• Lucas and Scarlett had wanted a small wedding and they had worked towards that. Though he was a public figure, Lucas would not let his private business public. Scarlett had agreed with him on it, and they had anticipated their union.
• The weather seemed to tally with their arrangement as the sun was high up in the sky on a beautiful Sunday morning. Scarlett was still getting on her wedding dress when Daphne walked in, fully dressed for the occasion.
• She squealed when she saw Scarlett and engaged her in a tight embrace afterward. "Lucas is going to drool when he sees you today," she said. "Oh come on, I think he has gotten used to seeing me fully dressed up," Scarlett said.
