Chapter 21 Waking Up In Another Room

• Naomi slowly opened her eyes. The faint, unfamiliar ceiling pattern left her confused. She blinked several times, trying to figure out where she was. Naomi looked around. This was clearly not her room. The wallpaper color and the angle of light coming through the window were all foreign.
• A few moments later, Naomi remembered the events of the previous night. She recalled her meeting with Rebecca. That night, they met after a long time and talked a lot. The deeper their conversation went, the dizzier Naomi felt, and a strange feeling enveloped her. She realized that the dizziness and the odd feeling were what brought her to this place.
• Naomi couldn’t figure out whose place this was. She felt very foolish. She shouldn’t have pretended to be so brave, leading to this unclear fate. Naomi was still lost in her thoughts.
