Chapter 17 Her Secret

• Dinner began. The table was filled with a variety of dishes, and people seemed to be chatting while enjoying their time together. However, among them was one person who appeared tense: Naomi. She was sitting next to William, and the atmosphere between them was very awkward.
• Naomi tried to convince herself that it was all just in her head. However, as time went on, she felt increasingly uncomfortable. Conversations with William were often fragmented, and the atmosphere at the dinner table felt increasingly heavy for Naomi.
