Chapter 69 I'm Getting Married I
- Laughter burst out of Hana’s lips. She swatted her sister’s hand, and they both chuckled. Cara’s laughter ended first. Hana didn’t want to be associated with murder, but her sister’s reply took a load off her shoulders.
- “Mama didn’t do anything,” Hana said. The memory replayed in her head. She didn’t understand it. She doubt she could. If she were a mother, she would give up her life for her kids. But more than that, she also had to marry a partner who would never put her in the position of choosing between him and their kids. A sigh left her lips as her attention returned to her sister. She didn’t want to think about the medical bills. “I saw the police. I think they’ll arrest me.”
- Nothing was said for the next few minutes until Cara grabbed her hand. “You should go.”
