• A week passed without Kyle calling Hana. Last week Friday, she had wanted to stay back in the car so Andrea would take her to him, but the driver had pleaded with her for them to leave. For fear of him losing his job, she agreed. Camilla had taken a look at her and knew nothing went to plan. They gave him one more day to fix up. A day turned to two. Two days turned to a week.
• But he never showed up or asked about her or her welfare from his sister, so right now on a dull Friday evening, she was getting ready to go clubbing with Camilla. It was all Kyle sister’s idea.
