Chapter 174 On The House I

• Working with Kyle was simpler than Hana expected. A bit awkward since they had to share one desk, and she had to evade his gaze so many times. Asides the anxiety, it was fairly okay. He had introduced her to Ivana, his assistant. For now, they agreed not to let anyone know she was the author of A Dragon’s Kiss. But now, she knew who played a role in ADK success. Ivana had managed it until Lance picked it up.
• Though she was a tad disappointed it wasn’t all luck and her efforts, she still felt loved by her husband. Before he knew who she was, he believed in her. The reminder brought a smile to her lips. She could feel his gaze on her but managed to keep her head down. This was one thing they had spent most of the morning doing. He was busy on his laptop, answering emails. A few times she would raise her head to see he was already watching and smiling at her.
• Since she came, she hadn’t done much. So far, Ivana had reported about the status of the duchess season one. He wanted to take advantage of that and announce a spin-off. Lance already had the scriptwriter for book one, but Kyle wanted Hana to work with the lady on book two. For now, her job was to come up with a script that followed the storyline of book two of the original series until she had come up with an idea for KP.
