• Jadiel and Sayrah felt so alive. Being outside in the fresh air and sunshine was healing to their wounded souls. The scent of Aidric stirred them both, Sayrah a little more than Jadiel. Jadiel was confused by some of the emotions she was feeling. Sayrah kept reassuring her that it was normal and that she would like it. Whatever “it” was.
• She paused in the middle to admire the centerpiece that held Blue false indigo, Bearded iris, Creeping phlox, and Short-toothed mountain mint. The varying colors delighted her eyes and their smell teased her senses. She smiled and stroked the Bearded iris. Purple and blue were her favorite colors.
• “Your Bearded irises are beautiful,” she murmured.
