• The day had been relatively quiet for Aidric and his companions. Aside from a two-hour meeting with Alpha Cassius, they had stayed in their suite pleading exhaustion. Aidric wasn’t lying. He was exhausted from dealing with all the she-wolves and their various attempts at trying to enter his suite. Aria and Achilles were doing an amazing job of keeping the women at bay.
• He knew none of those approaching him were his mate. Lee had informed him that his mate’s scent was faintly on the alpha which meant his mate and Alpha Cassius were somehow related. He didn’t ask because he wanted to find his mate by himself. Lycans liked to hunt their mates. It was a deep primal urge, and he was happy to give into it.
