Chapter 9
- Ava walked into Riley's room, her heart heavy with worry. She sat down beside her sister's bed, taking her hand in hers. Ava kissed Riley's palm, her lips lingering on the soft skin.
- "Wake up, please," Ava whispered, her voice cracking with emotion. "I don't feel good without you. No matter what happens, I will be there to get you justice. I promise this to you, baby."
- Ava's words were a gentle plea, a promise to her sister that she would fight for her, no matter what. As she finished speaking, Ava stood up and walked out of the room, her eyes scanning the hallway.
