Chapter 6 Meeting The Alpha

  • Freya heaved a sigh when she saw the pack house looked so big on the outside; she had always thought her Pack's pack house was rather too big, but this? This was a castle. The place was filled with sophisticated simplicity. She had earlier cleaned up and was given a meal before she was led by the same friendly and scary lady into the Pack's palace to meet the Alpha King. Freya would say it was better to dictate whether her head would roll off the platter than a meeting.
  • She was in awe about the utility around the place. The front yard was filled with soldiers; she came to this conclusion when she had seen them clanging their swords in battle practice. She had always been fascinated by battle art. It was a wonderful and noble cause, but her supposed Parents had opposed her joining the men to learn the crudity of knives and the innate ability of pack loyalty and protection. She cried a day or two when she realized she was a girl and couldn't learn the art of battle.
  • Silas had consoled her and promised to sneak a few lessons here and there for her, which he did correctly to his words. But she knew that it was a watered-down experience. It definitely paled in comparison to the real deal.
