Chapter 31 The Pear Tree

• "Hey, why are you not digging?" Kyriaki's eyes widened. "Someone has already found a treasure; stop messing around!" Kyriaki frowned at Freya's action.
• "It's not hidden underneath the earth," Freya said. She climbed to the top and carefully looked around from the height.
• "It is. Everyone is digging the earth to find the treasure. Treasures are buried!" Kyriaki stressed. She dug her hand into her robe and brought out the apple she hadn't finished eating. The first time she had bitten into the apple was to spite Freya; now, she wanted to calm her nerves. Why did she have to listen to this lady? They were doomed. The night sky was already so dark, as they were already hours into the night.
