Chapter 27 Treasure Hunt
- Freya's head raced as she saw the snide smiles plastered on some of the recruits' faces. The rules of the game seemed simple, but it was really unfair. Only five real treasures but ten boxes. This was going to be a long journey. There were no strict rules and according to her, all is fair. It meant that even if a team bought the treasure, there was every possibility that the team would be ambushed on their way back to the Arena. It could only count as a win if the treasure was presented at the Arena. People would play dirty now, and they would go on a rampage.
- Freya looked at Hashima in horror. Whoever brought out this game was ruthless and smart. She could tell that it was Hashima who made this game. She could see her features in it; it seemed simple but was really complicated, just like her.
- This game looked like was was just weeding out recruits, but in a real sense, it was going to test their strategic thinking during hard times, their utilization of nature, and the supernatural strengths in their disposition. This was a test of teamwork, especially. One had to work with their teammate to ensure victory in such a way that no one was left behind and no one was sacrificed for this said victory. To question their ruthlessness in the most subtle way possible.
