Chapter 38 The Cry Of An Alpha

  • Lucian had a grave look as he sat before to veiled bedpost. The veil was transparent hence one could easily see the view behind the veil. Lucian fisted his hands by his side and shut his eyes, taking a deep breath as he did so. He flipped his eyes open, and a resolved look took over his face. His eyes were with cold resolution. He quietly pulled open the veil. An old man lay on the bed motionless and unconscious. He had a frown on his brows and even the blind would see the stark resemblance between him and Lucian.
  • They were obviously cut from the same coat. The man had the same sabre-like brows as Lucian's, and his aura was even more threatening than Lucian's. He was trapped in a simple golden coat, his handsome yet aged face exuding so much energy despite his unconsciousness. For some seasons now, Lucian had to get used to his father being this way. Lifeless. It wasn't always like this; while his father might have looked mean and unapproachable due to his really strong aura and his role as the leader of the pack, he knew his father had the heart of a child. His father was more than just the Alpha of Cintra; he was his father and tutor.
  • He had taught him basically everything he knew, which was why it broke him into a thousand pieces to see his father lying lifeless on the bed. He had to let his father go, and he didn't think he would be able to fully let go without his chest throbbing so hard. Morgan did not want to say goodbye, and he knew she had her reasons.
