• [ARIETTA’S POV]
• I was taken to the hospital by Gerome, and the doctors immediately attended to me. I had injuries on my foot and hand because of what happened. I couldn’t move them properly. I also felt sad whenever I saw the bandages on both parts of my body. The doctor said there were no serious injuries, despite the fact that my back and head were hit when I fell.
• The door opened, and Pierce walked in. The first thing I noticed was the mixture of anger and concern on his face. When he saw me, his eyes immediately became teary. The anger faded, and only concern remained on his face.
