• Despite my lack of sleep, I still woke up early. I felt like a zombie when I got up from bed. My head hurt, and my eyes felt heavy. It’s Friday today, and I remembered that I took the day off because I thought Pierce and I would be celebrating his birthday. Now, I have no desire to see him.
• Sure, we need to talk about it. But for now, I just want to distract myself alone, without any relationship or family problems on my mind.
