- I told Arietta everything she needed to know—except for Tessa West’s involvement in my mother’s murder. I still couldn’t decide if I should tell her now or wait for another day. By just looking at her reaction, it seemed like she couldn’t process everything yet. If I added the fact that the woman she considered a mother was responsible for killing Mom, it might only confuse her more.
