Chapter 8 I Can Flirt With Him Now

  • Han did not bother to talk to her, so he quickened his pace.
  • The three other girls chased after him but were stopped by Lisa.
  • "It's fine."
  • It was just after school had dismissed and she did not want to cause a scene since she had so many classmates.
  • "Ugly people cause problems!" The girl looked at Han's back in disgust.
  • Another girl comforted Lisa, "Lisa, we don't need to talk to this weird guy. If it comes to the worst, I'll just ask Felix for his number in person."
  • Lisa smiled at her, "Thank you."
  • Felix, who was just done picking out the beef, heard the system's notification, notifying him that the likeability between him and the target had decreased.
  • He furrowed his eyebrows. Felix was already used to Han's erratic behavior.
  • It was an S-ranked task anyway, and he could understand why it was so difficult too.
  • When Felix got home, he brought the things to the kitchen. The housemaid hurried over and pointed upstairs.
  • "Mr. and Mrs. Turner have returned."
  • Felix stopped rolling his sleeves and pointed to the ingredients on the table, "Put them in the refrigerator."
  • He held a cup of coffee and went back to his room. He turned on the computer and looked at the surveillance video of the master bedroom.
  • The planes have their own rules. As long as he had enough points, Felix could use his abilities however he wanted.
  • He installed surveillance cameras in each room of his house beforehand. The cameras were the size of a fingernail and cannot be detected by any instrument.
  • There was also an application installed by Felix on everyone's phones. That way, Felix could know how many grains of rice the three of them had every day.
  • Using the applications, Felix was able to stop several housemaids from forming a gang to steal from his family.
  • However, Felix was not interested in whatever his family members did.
  • He looked at the man in a suit and the woman with makeup on through the screen. He wondered where they were going tonight.
  • Felix turned off the computer and sat on the chair as he thought about something.
  • When Chris opened the door to Felix's room, he saw Felix lying on the bed and playing games on his phone.
  • Upon seeing this, Maggie who was next to Chris had a trace of sarcasm in her eyes.
  • Initially, Chris wanted to bring Felix out tonight. However, he gave up on doing so when he saw Felix's hopeless behavior.
  • "Lix, the housemaid will prepare dinner soon, remember to eat it while it's hot," Maggie said with concern.
  • Chris said angrily, "Don't care about his, he'll starve to death eventually."
  • They slammed the door on their way out.
  • Felix grinned, but his eyes were fixed on the screen.
  • The door was opened again. This time, it was his stepbrother, Sam.
  • "Felix, Dad said he's taking us to the Sanders family's place to have dinner, why are you still lying in bed?"
  • It was Sam's turn to annoy Felix.
  • Felix would have gone bananas if he had his old temper.
  • "Get into a big fight with Chris, then, mock Maggie for pretending to settle their differences."
  • Felix was more rational and motivated this time.
  • He did not bother to raise his eyes since he did not want to fight with him.
  • Sam played a one-man show by himself and Maggie urged him to go downstairs. So, he had to pretend to say goodbye to him and walked out.
  • After the three of them left, Felix took out the test paper that Han gave him and finished it. He was sure to maintain his grade at around sixty.
  • Then, he went downstairs to eat and made roasted beef.
  • Nancy became more anxious as she saw Felix in the kitchen.
  • Felix seems like he's becoming a different person.
  • Before that, he used to hang out with his friends all day and cause trouble. He would only be at home when he needed money.
  • He had been calm and proficient in cooking ever since he transferred to another school. He even had evidence of theft attempts.
  • It was a small matter. However, she had to go to prison if he called the police.
  • That way, Nancy did not dare to tell Maggie about his changes.
  • She suddenly thought about the ghost stories back in her hometown and shivered.
  • After eating, Felix checked on the stock market, changed his clothes, and went out for a jog.
  • The next day, Han ate his roasted beef and made up for the likeability points Felix lost yesterday.
  • During their tutoring session in the afternoon, Felix took out the papers he did yesterday.
  • After Han graded his test, he found that Felix had passed this time. And just as he was about to explain the mistakes Felix made, Felix leaned over.
  • "How did I do? I made progress, right?"
  • Han spoke coldly, "You barely passed."
  • Felix looked into his eyes and felt a little hurt, "Why do you hate me so much?"
  • There was a strange feeling in Han's heart, and his eyes trembled.
  • Ding! "Likeability with target increased by 10. The overall likeability level is 37."
  • Felix smirked, then held his hand.
  • "I don't care if you hate me. It only mattered that I like you."
  • Han shook his hand off and stood up from his seat. He then walked outside the classroom.
  • Ding! "Likeability with target increased by 5. Overall likeability level is 42."
  • Felix grabbed his chin and chuckled.
  • "I think I can flirt with him now."
  • Tomorrow was Friday, and Sports Day would be next Monday. The sports committee was distributing numbers.
  • When it got to Han, he realized that his event was changed, and Felix would run the 5000-meter race instead of him.
  • "It's too late to change now. I like running anyway," Felix said as he stuffed the number under his desk.
  • "Moreover…" Felix smirked and lowered his tone, "I've been feeding Mr. Evans too well he gained some weight recently, I'll lose all my effort if he loses weight."
  • After Han heard that, his face had no expression but his ears turned red.
  • On Sports Day, Felix made French toast and ham sandwiches.
  • He arrived at the field, he found a place to sit, and waited for Han.
  • When Han came, Felix gave him a piece of sandwich, "Here, have some!"
  • Felix watched as Han gobbled down the sandwich in two mouthfuls and frowned, "How can you eat so quickly when you have a bad stomach?"
