• “Does the contract still hold up?” Harry asked.
• Felix looked slightly surprised. “Of course, it still holds up!” he reassured Harry before trying to recall if he had accidentally done anything to make Harry think otherwise. He was so deep in thought that he completely missed the disappointment that filled Harry’s eyes.
• Looking a little exhausted, Harry nodded softly. “Ok, I understand.” A part of Harry felt like he had deserved this. He had tried so hard to prevent himself from being forced into something he did not want to do. He was ready now, but the opportunity had already slipped away.
