Chapter 76
- WEST'S POV
- I don't know why Samantha is just too stubborn. Move out from that crab of a house; she wouldn't do it. I don't know how she will react when she hears I want her to move in with me because, well, the facility we arranged to shelter the families that will be affected by the demolition process is already filled up, and my suite, like I've already stated, is large enough for a family of three, and since Sam is an expert in running away and avoiding me, we may never even bump into each other.
- "Move out of the way." I use my hands and body to push people out of the way as the nurse speeds the stretcher with Sam's mother on it into the emergency ward. Sam comes running after us, panicked eyes, her hotel uniform all queezed and scattered, blonde hair that is always packed in a tight bun now has some tendrils rolling out of place. But she doesn't cry.
