WEST'S POV
As we step out of the dungeon, we don't run back to the house; we walk slowly, neither of us saying anything to the other. I'm sure Luca thinks what I did was stupid, killing the only direct culprit we had to the offense, and maybe it was stupid. What was I even thinking when I did that? I shake my head. I wasn't thinking.
As we walk halfway through to his mansion, Luca's phone starts ringing. "Oh, who is disturbing our peace..." He starts grumbling as he struggles to redraw the phone from his pocket. His face lights up when she sees the caller ID. I wonder who it is. "Hello, sweet."
