Chapter 8

• When she didn't hear the sound of her door shut, she turned, only to see him still at his spot, fuming and glowering at her. The expression on his face was so dark that it scared her for a moment. She held er breath, waiting for him to rush to him and maybe, drag her by the hair as Robert had once done, but he remained at his spot, only boiling in anger. 
• She let out a sigh of relief. Of course, he was her secretary. He wouldn't dare do that to her. 
• Empowered by that thought, she regained her strength.
