Chapter 22

• A gasp escaped Liam's lips and his eyes sparkled at the revelation. He looked at Anastacia who in turn stared at him in surprise.  
• "Are you serious?" He finally asked, standing to his feet while staring from his mother to his relatives, then to his sister who had a faint smile graced on her face. It was a small smile but Anastacia could see how well the smile transformed her face. Anastacia felt she should really smile some more, for she looked prettiest when she did.
• "Yes," Aunt May nodded in approval, a splitting smile on her face as she stared at her elder sister.  Her husband, whose arm was hanging limply on her shoulder, nodded too and Liam fell to the bed, his body sagging with relief as he looked at his mother who was smiling brightly at him. Tears welled up in his eyes and he lowered his head when a lone tear slithered down his cheek.
