Chapter 24

• "Why will you think we are friends?" She folded her arms once again and he stared silently at her. "Because I went with you to see your mother, you automatically think we are friends, right?" She chuckled once again and Liam felt his heart breaking with every word of hers. Why was she saying all these things to him? 
• "Wake up, Liam! You're only my secretary. Know your place!" She slammed both of her palms on his chest and walked back to her desk, leaning her weight on it and folding her arms once again. 
• Liam's eyes widened at her outburst but he remained quiet,  staring into her eyes with hurt written plainly on his face. Her words were hurting him so much and no matter how he tried to hide his pain, it was just too obvious.
